‘Say sorry, properly’ is the message of a 28-page guide sent by the Law Society to its 40,000 members, advising them ‘not to be afraid of saying sorry to clients when things go wrong … even if you disagree with the complaint, you should apologise as a way of acknowledging your client is unhappy.’
