LE PAPE TO REPLACE BLAYAU AS CCR CHAIRMAN
French state- backed reinsurer Caisse Centrale de Réassurance (CCR) has appointed Jacques Le Pape as chairman of the board of directors. Le Pape has joined the company from financial advisory boutique Barber Hauler Capital Advisers, where he was most recently a partner. He was previously general secretary of the Air France-KLM Group. The nomination follows the exit of Pierre Blayau, whose term in office as chairman has ended after six years. In his new role, Le Pape will oversee the deployment of CCR’s strategic plan, help strengthen the company’s natural catastrophe portfolio and its commercial reinsurance activity. CCR provides coverage against natural catastrophes and uninsurable risks to companies operating in France.
