ASCOT APPOINTS BARG AS CHIEF CLAIMS OFFICER IN NORTH AMERICA

Ascot has named Marina Barg to the newly created post of chief claims officer in North America to oversee all claims operations and alignment with the group’s One Ascot ecosystem and philosophy. Reporting to Ascot US chief executive Matt Kramer, she will work closely with Ascot executives across the group’s Bermuda, US insurance and Ethos Specialty business units and collaborate with its claims team at Lloyd’s. With more than two decades of legal and claims experience, Barg joins from WR Berkley, where she served as head of claims for its corporate segment. Prior to Berkley, she served with Navigators, Starr Cos and AIG.
