AXA PLEDGES ESG COMMITMENTS

Axa has launched the Axa for Progress Index, an online tool to measure the progress and impact of its sustainability strategy. The Paris-based insurer has drawn up a list of measurable commitments to assess the impact of this strategy, which it says is built around climate and inclusive protection. These commitments will be monitored through the index and are aligned with its strategic plan “Driving Progress 2023”, Axa said. The company also pledged to achieve carbon neutrality by 2025 by reducing its overall CO2 emissions by 20% (energy, travel and digital) and offsetting residual emissions.
