NO2 levels in air linked to cardiovascular and respiratory deaths

New research has suggested there is a need to revise and tighten the current air quality guidelines, and to consider stricter regulatory limits for nitrogen dioxide concentrations. The research, published in The BMJ, found that even small increases in nitrogen dioxide (NO 2) levels in the air may be linked to increases in cardiovascular and respiratory deaths.
