European recall report sees decline in 2020 but uptick expected in 2021

Last year saw the number of recalls in Europe fall across all sectors as a result of the pandemic causing production to decline, according to Sedgwick’s “European state of the nation recall index report”. However, as production ramps up in 2021, and demand continues to outpace supply in some sectors, recalls will inevitably rise, said Sedgwick, a provider of technology-enabled risk, benefits and integrated business solutions.
