XENIA ACQUIRES CREDIT BUSINESS OF CREDIT INSURANCE ALLIANCE

Trade credit insurance specialist Xenia Broking is to acquire Credit Insurance Alliance (CIA), a credit broker based in the UK’s West Midlands. Following completion, Xenia will integrate CIA’s business within its Credit Risk Solutions subsidiary. Tim Coles, chief executive of Xenia, said: “The [acquisition] supports our strategy to build a leading trade credit broking business that delivers outstanding outcomes for our expanding client base”. The transaction is expected to complete on May 10, 2021. London based Xenia was formed through the merger of Credit Risk Solutions and Credit & Business Finance, which were acquired in 2017 and 2019 respectively. Earlier this month Xenia acquired UK trade credit broker Status Credit Insurance Brokers.
