FCA MAKES SENIOR APPOINTMENTS TO DRIVE DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has made senior appointments as part of its transformation programme to build a data-led
regulator. In December, the FCA announced plans to restructure and combine its supervisory functions. It has now made four
further appointments to the FCA’s executive team: Stephanie Cohen has been appointed chief operating officer; Jessica Rusu
will join the FCA’s as its first chief data, information and intelligence officer; Sarah Pritchard will become executive director
of Markets; and Emily Shepperd will take up the newly created role of executive director, authorisations. The announcement
followed the appointed in December of Sheldon Mills as the new executive director, Consumers and Competition, and Siobhán
Sheridan as chief people officer.
