BMS RE MAKES SENIOR US PROPERTY HIRE
Wholesale broker BMS has hired David Cameron as executive vice-president, property treaty. Cameron was most recently a senior
adviser at RenaissanceRe, where he worked from 2015 until 2019. In his new role, Cameron will help the expansion of the broker's
property treaty product offerings. He will be based in the firm’s Edina, Minnesota office and will join on March 1. Pete Chandler,
president and chief executive of BMS Re, said Cameron’s experience will contribute “significantly” to the company’s expansion
in the property treaty space. BMS is investing heavily in the US property space through several senior hires and said this
business line will continue to be a key growth area. In January the carrier hired Kevin Gordon as treaty reinsurance senior
vice-president for its Chicago office.
