Facebook ‘re-friends’ Australia as news ban lifted

Social media giant Facebook has U-turned on its decision to block news in Australia following an agreement by the country’s government to drop a provision in its proposed News Media Bargaining Code law, which would force aggregator sites to pay for displaying news content.
