CONFIE EXPANDS MOTOR OPERATION WITH TWO ACQUISITIONS

US broking group Confie has expanded its InsureOne motor insurance business by making two acquisitions of personal lines and commercial lines intermediaries in Colorado and Florida. In Colorado, Confie has acquired Vela Insurance Agency, complementing the nonstandard motor business it already has in the state. In Florida, California-based Confie is making its first foray into the Boca Raton area, broadening its existing presence in the state with the acquisition of Riteway Insurance. “We continue to seek opportunities to break into new markets and expand our reach both organically or by acquisition,” said Confie chief executive Cesar Soriano. “These two companies join our family as an excellent start to our 2021 growth strategy.”
