Asbestos in buildings
The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) seeks legislation to impose a duty of companies to discover if buildings contain asbestos
fibre and, if so, draw up management plans. They note that the 3,000 asbestos-related deaths each year in the UK are ‘all
preventable’.
