HDI GLOBAL RENEWS BINDER WITH GERMAN M&A SPECIALIST

HDI Global Specialty has renewed an underwriting agency agreement with German mergers and acquisitions (M&A) insurance specialist, Amaniki. Formed in March last year, the Frankfurt-based managing general agent (MGA) has a subsidiary office in London and mainly focuses on UK and European M&A risks. HDI Global said that Amaniki is well placed to take advantage of “strong growth potential” in the European M&A insurance market. The MGA has a “broad risk appetite” in terms of jurisdiction, industry and risk type, HDI Global said in a statement. Niki Demirbilek, founder of Amaniki said: “It was important to us that we renewed the agreement at a time when other insurers are re-assessing their exposure to specialty niche products.”
