CHUBB NAMES LAZARO AS DIGITAL HEAD FOR INTERNATIONAL INSURANCE

Global re/insurer Chubb has appointed Gabriel Lazaro as senior vice-president and digital head for Overseas General Insurance to oversee digital insurance product distribution and sales in 51 countries and territories outside the US. The appointment takes effect January 1. He will report to Sean Ringsted, Chubb executive vice-president and chief risk officer and chief digital officer, and Juan Luis Ortega, Chubb executive vice-president and president of Overseas General Insurance. With Chubb since 2016, Lazaro currently serves as vice-president and digital head for Latin America. Prior to joining, he held multiple international posts at AIG, including head of digital for emerging markets and head of digital for Latin America.
