Focus: Covid has accentuated the value of digital and reinsurance

In early 2020 the world was introduced to a new and extremely contagious pathogen called Sars-CoV-2. In the months to follow everyone saw how quickly this virus could spread and negative affect our lives, including the tragic loss of life with more than one million dead globally from more than 54 million cases (according to Johns Hopkins University of Medicine’s coronavirus resource centre).
