BHSI NAMES KIDD HEAD OF THIRD-PARTY LINES IN IRELAND

US commercial insurer Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance has appointed Louise Kidd as head of third-party lines in Ireland. She is based in BHSI’s Dublin office. With nearly 20 years of industry experience, Kidd joins from AIG, where she most recently served as financial institutions and commercial professional indemnity underwriting manager in Europe. “Her deep expertise in both executive & professional and casualty lines will fuel our growth and lasting partnerships with customers and brokers in the region,” said Hilary Browne, BHSI’s Ireland country manager and head of casualty for the UK & Europe.
