No violation of claimants’ rights over costs delay

Claims brought by the claimants against the defendant were dismissed and a costs order made against them. The defendant served a notice of commencement of assessment of his bill of costs within three months of the date of judgment, as specified in CPR 47.7. However, there was some confusion as to whether the notice had been served correctly on all claimants.
