Down’s Syndrome boy wins over £3mn
A boy with Down’s Syndrome has been awarded over £3mn in compensation. The boy underwent a heart operation when he was two
years old, but suffered complications and was left with brain damage. The hospital had agreed to settle the case after admitting
liability. The boy is now 19 years old.
