Compensation demand over wrong grave

A borough council is facing demands for compensation from the family of a woman who was placed in the wrong grave at a cemetery. The woman was placed in a grave in a plot next to the one which had been bought by the family. The Home Office has granted permission for her to be reburied in the right grave. The council has apologised for the mistake.
