SEDGWICK EXPANDS IN ASIA WITH MALAYSIA OFFICE

Insurance claims and technology service provider Sedgwick has opened a third-party administration service centre in Malaysia. The office, based in the country’s capital Kuala Lumpur, will provide first notice of loss and desktop assessment services for medical claims, employee benefits, travel claims, property and third-party liability claims and cyber claims services for insurers, reinsurers, brokers and corporates. Sedgwick said the new service centre marks “another milestone” in its global third-party administration development and follows the recent digital platform implementation in Singapore. “The move reaffirms Sedgwick’s drive to grow its business in Asia, building on the strategic acquisition of Maphilindo International in 2019,” it said.
