MPS calls for doctors’ mental wellbeing strategy

The Medical Protection Society (MPS) has urged the government to implement a strategy that support doctors’ mental wellbeing using some of the extra £3 billion which it has earmarked for the NHS to prepare for a possible second wave of Covid-19 later in the year. MPS said this was needed in order to avoid huge numbers either leaving the profession or suffering in silence with psychological injuries.
