Covid-19 – the new claims epidemic?

Insurers may be facing the prospect of an overload of employers’ and public liability personal injury claims arising from the Covid-19 pandemic, according to law firm BLM. In an article entitled “Covid-19 – the new claims epidemic?”, Simon Morrow, partner, BLM, said that trade unions are being proactive in respect of providing Covid-19 guidance to their members, and well-known claimant firms are gearing up for these types of claims.
