Reporting on climate-related risks

The European Commission has stated that a priority for recovery from Covid-19 will be to move towards a greener economy. However, this is not an entirely new initiative, as environmental concerns have been coming increasingly to the fore in recent years. The European Reporting Lab, set up last year, was born out of the need for the EC to have a dedicated resource to improve companies’ reporting about their sustainability. This article provides a summary of the output of the European Reporting Lab on climate-related risk, and a brief update on the Lab’s latest project.
