AON BOOKS 9% ORGANIC REINSURANCE GROWTH IN Q2
Aon enjoyed another quarter of strong organic growth in its reinsurance business during the second three months of 2020, driven
by growth in treaty and facultative placements and improving market conditions. The broker’s Reinsurance Solutions business
posted organic revenue growth for the quarter of 9%. Reinsurance revenues rose to $448m during the second quarter on the back
of “strong” net new business generation in treaty and “solid growth” in facultative placements. The firm’s Commercial Risk
Solutions business booked revenues of $1.13bn supported by organic revenue growth of 1%. Aon benefited from growth across
most major geographies, including “modest growth” in the US and Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and “double-digit growth”
in Latin America and Asia, although the Pacific region saw a decline.
