How lockdown imposed by Covid-19 may spur on innovation and invention

Great inventions have been borne out of some of our most difficult times in history. The Great Depression in the US is said to have given us everything from the electric razor to the chocolate chip cookie. In this current pandemic, people across the country are turning their lockdown boredom into a chance to innovate and invent in the face of new challenges, which may spur a rise in patent applications.
