Shipping, like many other business sectors, has found itself turning to digital solutions, not just for the basics such as planned maintenance systems and emails, but also for a myriad of other business needs. What’s more, a modern ship may also contain thousands of sensors, generating ever-more data. This data is both a value driver and an area for concern.
