Cyber notation

Bureau Veritas (BV) is classing the recently delivered Elisa Larus in its first cyber notation. France LNG Shipping SAS (a French shipowning company jointly owned by NYK and Geogas LNG) has taken delivery of the LNG carrier from Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries in South Korea. The BV cyber notations provide procedures and methodologies to address design and operational requirements for cyber security in compliance with IMO 2021 requirements, as well as the new IACS (International Association of Classification Societies) recommendation 166.
