Rural mobile phone users more at risk

Swedish research has suggested that using a digital mobile phone in rural areas may pose a greater risk of developing brain tumours than it does in urban areas. The researchers said that the cause of the increased risk was possibly because of higher emissions from phones in rural areas which were necessary because the base stations were further apart than they would be in urban areas.
