LOC Group New MD

Marine consulting firm LOC Group has appointed Shi Wenchao to the role of managing director of LOC China. Shi will be based in Shanghai and will oversee the group’s Chinese operations, which includes offices in Shanghai and Tianjin. Shi has more than 10 years’ experience in the nuclear and power and utilities sectors. He joins LOC China from Bureau Veritas China, where he was business unit head of power and utilities. His responsibilities involved leading sales and marketing, project implementation and business development strategies. Prior to this, Shi was project secretary at State Nuclear Power Engineering Company where he was heavily involved on the China-US nuclear power efforts.
