West of England New Underwriter

West of England P&I Club has announced that Sumit Madhu has joined the Club’s London underwriting team as a senior underwriter. Sumit is a Master Mariner, having served as a captain on LNG vessels with a major Japanese shipowner. After his time at sea he joined Thomas Miller in 2011, transferring in March 2018 to the role of underwriter at UK Club, where he had responsibility for the Middle Eastern, Indian, and Japanese regions.
