CATALINA APPOINTS NEW CFO

Bermuda-based Catalina Holdings has appointed Derrick Irby as its new chief financial officer. He replaces Chris Fleming, who has been with Catalina since its first acquisition in 2005. Irby joined from Axa XL, where he was head of finance for property/casualty insurance and reinsurance. He will oversee Catalina’s group finance function, helping to develop the business across its multiple geographies, and use his experience to help prepare the business for its next phase of growth and strategic development.
