ED EXPANDS PROFESSIONAL AND EXECUTIVE RISK TEAM

Wholesale broker Ed has appointed Chloë Cox and Alex Atkinson as divisional directors within its professional and executive risk team in London. The hires have been made with a view to expanding the firm's North American and Australian/New Zealand wholesale book, the company said. Atkinson was previously a director at Alesco, where he placed a portfolio of Australian and New Zealand binders and facilities into London. Cox joins from Marsh JLT Specialty, where she was an associate specialising in directors’ and officers’, employment practices liability, pension trustee liability and public offering of securities insurance placements.
