WILLIS TOWERS WATSON SET TO NAME NEW CEO LATER THIS YEAR
Willis Towers Watson is expected to name a new chief executive during the second half of this year. The group’s incumbent chief executive, John Haley, is expected to retire at the end of 2020 when his current contract expires. Responding to analyst questioning during the group’s fourth-quarter earnings call, Haley said the Willis Towers Watson board of directors was leading the succession process for his replacement. Haley has led the business since the combination of Willis and Towers Watson in 2016, having previously served as chairman and chief executive of Towers Watson since 2010.
