PIONEER APPOINTS SPECIE UNDERWRITER

Pioneer Underwriters has appointed Philip Turner as a specie underwriter within the marine specialty team in London. Turner was a managing director at Marsh and led its specie team for more than 20 years before joining Canopius as head of specie in 2015. Pioneer said Turner’s appointment would enhance its offering in areas such as cash, precious metals, diamonds, fine art and cryptocurrency.
