CARNEGIE-BROWN APPOINTED CHAIRMAN OF CUVVA

UK-based insurtech Cuvva has appointed Bruce Carnegie-Brown to chair its board. Carnegie-Brown, who assumes the role with immediate effect, is chairman of Lloyd’s and vice-chairman of Banco Santander. He was chairman of Moneysupermarket until May this year. Carnegie-Brown succeeds Nick Parker, who has served as chairman since Cuvva was launched. Cuvva, which sold its first policy in 2016, provides short-term, flexible insurance in the UK, such as motor insurance by the hour, via an app. It has sold more than one million policies.
