CHAUCER APPOINTS PROPERTY CLASS UNDERWRITER IN MENA PUSH

Chaucer has appointed Noufal Manzil as class underwriter to join its property team in Dubai. Manzil will be responsible for building Chaucer’s property portfolio accross the Midde East and north Africa (Mena). The carrier said the appointment reaffirms its commitment to establishing a “broad marine and non-marine underwriting team” to service the Mena region and the Indian sub-continent. Manzil joins from Talbot, where he was a board member, as well being responsible for the management and development of the property book. Before that he was with QBE in Dubai and Hannover Re in Bahrain.
