SSL ENDEAVOUR NAMES FORMER JLT EXEC PALMER-BROWN CHAIRMAN

Former JLT executives Jonathan Palmer-Brown and Hugh Crossland have joined Lloyd’s broker SSL Endeavour. Palmer-Brown, who was a member of the JLT executive committee before the business was acquired by Marsh, has been named group non-executive chairman of SSL Endeavour. Crossland, who was chief financial officer and commercial director for Latin America and Canada at JLT, joins the broker as group CFO. The appointments, which are with immediate effect, mark the next stage in SSL Endeavour’s development after it was created last year by the merger of marine broker SSL with delegated authority specialist Endeavour Insurance Services in a deal backed by JC Flowers. SSL Endeavour also confirmed it is finalising the acquisition of Worldlink Holdings, a North American aviation brokerage and managing general agent.
