HUB ACQUIRES INSURANCE CENTRE OF NEW ENGLAND

North American broking group Hub International has acquired the assets of Insurance Centre of New England, a Massachusetts-based intermediary that provides personal and commercial insurance and employee benefits products and services. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. ICNE president and chief executive Bill Trudeau will join Hub New England and report Timm Marini, president of personal lines at Hub New England. “ICNE will expand our presence in western Massachusetts and build on Hub’s core strengths in property and casualty, employee benefits and personal lines solutions,” Marini said.
