RT SPECIALTY NAMES BERNAL VICE-PRESIDENT IN CALIFORNIA

RT Specialty, the wholesale broking unit of Ryan Specialty Group, has named Matt Bernal as a vice-president in its property practice, based in the company’s San Francisco office. With 15 years of property insurance experience, Bernal joins from Hiscox, where he managed property business for all US regions outside the southeast, focusing on catastrophe-exposed national accounts in mixed real estate, healthcare, habitational, hospitality, municipal bonds, education, warehousing and light manufacturing sectors. Prior to Hiscox, he served with Cooper Gay, Risk Placement Services and RT Specialty.
