Warning over “broken securities class action system” in US

Securities class action filings in the US increased in 2018 to 420 cases – doubling the average of the prior 20 years, according to a new research report prepared by Mayer Brown partner Andrew Pincus and released by the US Chamber Institute for Legal Reform (ILR). The ILR said the report offers “proposals to reform the broken securities class action system”.
