NHS Staff Survey highlights discrimination and harassment
The latest NHS Staff Survey has revealed the latest statistics on discrimination, health issues and bullying, harassment or
abuse faced by NHS employees. It found that 6.9 per cent of staff reported personally experiencing discrimination at work
in the last 12 months from patients/service users or other members of the public, continuing a steady increase in discrimination
since 2015 (5.8 per cent). It also revealed that 8.1 per cent of staff reported personally experiencing discrimination from
managers or colleagues.
