SSL ENDEAVOUR RESTRUCTURES LEADERSHIP AS ALLEN EXITS

London market broker SSL Endeavour has named executive chairman David Lawrence as group chief executive following a management restructure. Roger Spicer will step down from the chief executive role to become marine business development director. Karen Allen, the broking firm’s managing director, is leaving the business having only joined the company in October last year, having previously served as director for international at Howden UK. Gillian Martin has been promoted to managing director for marine, having previously served as marine director and head of broking. Spicer was installed as group chief executive of SSL Endeavour, following the combination of the broker he previously led – marine and specie specialist SSL – with North American coverholder specialist Endeavour.
