TYSERS APPOINTS MACFARLANE TO LEAD INTERNATIONAL DIVISION

London market broker Tysers has appointed former RFIB executive Richard Macfarlane as managing director of its international division. He succeeds David Randle, who has been named head of development for Integro’s UK corporate and private clients division. Macfarlane was managing director of the global risk division at RFIB. This incorporated property, energy, construction, delegated underwriting, political risks/trade credit and financial lines. He joined RFIB in 2011 from Glencairn. US broker Integro acquired Tysers last year and is integrating the firm into its wholesale operations under the Tysers brand. The combined wholesale operation now generates premiums of more than $2bn.
