IFRS 17, Insurance Contracts


Following the Board’s lengthy discussion last month on how it would go about considering whether to amend IFRS 17, Insurance Contracts, in the light of the issues arising from the implementation work being undertaken by the industry, this month’s discussion on the consequences of the IASB’s discussions for the effective date that lasted just under an hour was short but decisive.
