Complaints remit to be extended to PSP receipts
By Neasa MacErlean
Payment service providers (PSPs) will be required to consider complaints regarding the receipt of funds in cases of alleged
Authorised Push Payment (APP) fraud from 31 January 2019. Such complaints will then be eligible to go to the Financial Ombudsman
Service. Prior to this change of policy, only paying PSPs have been required to accept APP complaints.
