FCA identifies sexual harassment as a regulatory issue

The handling of allegations of sexual misconduct is “increasingly being discussed with firms”, according to the FCA. Gagging orders are not seen as blocking an individual’s ability to blow the whistle to the FCA, and the regulator says it would be “especially interested if firms were systemically mishandling allegations or incubating a culture of sexual harassment”.
