Historic IASB Meeting

The IASB meeting in July meeting had a certain poignance as it was the last one in its offices in Cannon Street which has been its home for the past 17 years, before moving to its new home at Canary Wharf. Board members, staff and visitors will no doubt miss the familiar setting. However, there was business to be done as usual and the agenda focused on three main topics: goodwill and impairment (on which the Board made some important decisions on the direction of the project), rate-regulated activities, and the Disclosure Initiative. There were also brief updates on other areas.
