EOS VENTURE MAKES INSURTECH INVESTMENTS

Eos Venture Partners, a specialist InsurTech venture capital fund, has made its first two investments. The company has invested in Concirrus, a marine insurance analytics platform, and in Digital Fineprint, a lead generation and underwriting solution for small- to medium- sized commercial lines. Concirrus uses AI-powered software to provide behavioural analysis that considers hundreds of factors - including a ship’s location and speed - to offer more accurate underwriting models. DFP helps insurers and brokers increase top line growth and improve underwriting profitability using analytics. Eos was formed in 2016 and includes TransRe among its investors.
