STARR INSURANCE NAMES EUROPE HEAD AND OPENS OSLO OFFICE

Starr Insurance Companies has named Joost Vink as head of Europe. He will be responsible for all of Starr’s European operations outside the UK. He will report directly to Jim Herbert, chief executive officer of Starr Underwriting Agents Ltd, who heads all of Starr’s European and UK operations. The company also announced that it is opening an office in Oslo, Norway, effective October 1, 2018. The Oslo office will initially focus on general aviation but Starr expects to expand its product offering in the months ahead.
