LLOYD’S CEO INGA BEALE TO STEP DOWN

Lloyd’s Chief Executive Officer Inga Beale is to leave the London-based insurer after five years in the role. The date of Beale’s departure has yet to be announced, but Lloyd’s has begun its search for a new CEO with a view to Beale leaving in 2019. Beale joined Lloyd’s in January 2014, the market’s first female CEO in its 330-year history. She has championed the market’s modernisation and digital transformation, as well as helped drive an agenda of greater diversity and inclusion for the global insurance sector.
